There exist disparities in the management of diabetes in the United States whereby African Americans and Hispanics have a disadvantage over white people.
It is good to understand that diabetes affects Hispanic and African Americans disproportionally. The idea compares the ethnicities to their white counterparts. Here, there are issues that see Hispanic Americans and African Americans suffer more when it comes to diabetes (Bonds et al. 1041).
