Some people argue that every person should only focus on getting formal education as opposed to knowing people. The idea is misleading because one of the purposes of going through school is to form networks. Formal education alone cannot guarantee success to a person. Fomina and Chahine argue that, “people must learn the importance of interpersonal skills” (90). For instance, running a big business requires a person who can interact well with consumers. An individual whose only potency lies in book knowledge can never be a good entrepreneur. Consumers require assurance and a business owner that listens to them.
