Societal Issues and Spirituality Essay

It comes out that human beings contain inherent values that are inalienable. All people require respect regardless of the positions they hold in the society. Human beings come from God and have a spiritual aspect. It is crucial to ensure that all people receive the dignity they deserve at all stages of their lives. Human beings are created in the image and likeness of God and that is why they deserve dignity as well as respect in every life situation.

Kierkegaard discusses the problematization of the self, singularity, individuality and existence. He also believes in the synthesis of a person’s physical and spiritual aspects. Bruno Gulli discusses the issue of the dignity of individualization (Kierkegaard, 2006). The aspect of sovereignty and productivity on the self plus individuality is discussed by the mentioned authors. The ideas of Bruno and Kierkegaard apply to all people in the global domain.

The problematization of the self sees a person undergo challenges which improve him/her in every aspect of life. The issue sees a person become familiar with handling different life situations. When it comes to singularity, a person is viewed as being him/herself as opposed to the idea of viewing people as a group (Kierkegaard, 2006). Individuality comes across as the issue of viewing the self like itself without considering outer factors. Lastly, Kierkegaard brings out the factor of existence. According to him, the issue emphasizes on the sacred nature of life. People are allowed to be unique whereby they undertake crucial decisions regarding their lives without interference.

Kierkegaard brings out the issue of synthesis. He states that a human being contains physical and spiritual aspects. According to him, the factors were guaranteed by God during creation. It comes out that a person is sacred just like God (Kierkegaard, 2006). Whenever a person dies, he/she leaves the body and the soul returns to the creator. The essence of the idea is to show that the physical aspect of a person carries his/her soul. The soul of every individual carries the likeness of God and is invisible in the physical realm........GET AN AFFORDABLE PLAGIARISM FREE COPY
