The crusades denote the medieval period wars waged by Christians against Muslims. The conflict aimed at ensuring that the Christian holy sites were taken away from the Muslims. Here, Christians had the mission of ensuring that they defeated the Muslim control over holy Sites. It comes out that the Christians involved in the conflict looked forward to the expatriation of their sins if they died in battle. Christians in Europe began the crusades to take over the administration of their holy cities whereby Muslim jihadists crushed them in a confrontation whose effects can be felt even in the modern day.

There occurred eight main crusade adventures for the Christian fighters. In light of research, the activities occurred between 1096 and 1291.[1] Christians from Europe received a status through the wars which claimed many lives. The activities began with Alexius the Byzantine emperor who ended the conflict between western and eastern Christians. He did that by ensuring that Pope Urban the second agreed with his ideas of invading the Muslim world. The idea healed the tension between the eastern and western Christians ensuring that the pope agreed to send the required troops. The activities of Pope Urban and Emperor Alexius marked the beginning of the crusades.

It comes out that the call by Pope Urban saw a great response from Christians from the western world. Here, the individuals who joined the war wore crosses across their necks to show their devotion.[2] The first contact with the Muslim world proved fatal because the Christian army recorded a defeat.
