Although changes occurred in the past, the shift that technology is taking means that more developments will be experienced in the education sector to influence how children will be learning. The biggest question of the matter is whether education will maintain its relevance, or it will be dismantled with technology and fail to impact meaningful lessons in children efficiently.
Despite the level of technology, it is predicted that schools will still run but under different conditions and varying methods of teaching. The instructions will be delivered differently, probably online and therefore practical work might be missing in most cases. This type of teaching will, therefore, neglect some areas of life. Despite the use of technology, some, the morality of the society still needs to be upheld. Therefore, it is wise to consider some subjects that teach about morality and cannot be appropriately delivered online (Young, 2002).
Technology will introduce devices that can check on the movements of students in school and control what they do at a particular time. However, schools in the future are vulnerable to all kinds of immorality due to the changes in the society set up. As such, members of the opposite sex will live closer to each other with more freedom to interact. The degradation of morals in the future will, therefore, make the children vulnerable to sexual immorality. Without enough education in sexual orientation, they are bound to fall into the wrong hands and make mistakes that would cost them their lives (Young, 2002). Therefore technology cannot be entrusted with every education that is given in schools.
