The Founder-Movie Review

The concept of human resource management is a crucial aspect of any business. It comes out that any successful entity must employ the best human resource management strategies. The movie “the founder” is the best representation of excellent Human resource management application. Proper human resource management techniques led to the growth of the McDonald’s franchise to create a massive fortune.

The movie “the founder” brings out the story of Ray Kroc who aspired to build a massive business. He began selling mixers to different organizations (Imdb). Most of his products were rejected. However, he was determined to persist with his dreams. He reached a point where he wanted to work in partnership with McDonalds a small entity in California, United States. He made a phone call to the entity and he was invited to see the restaurant. He drove his car through different states to ensure that he reached California. On reaching his destination, he was impressed by what he saw.

He persuaded the brothers to begin a franchise business with him. They were reluctant at first but they gave in to his persistence. He mortgaged his house to go into business but the brothers could not cooperate with him (Imdb). However, he met an accountant named Harry Sonneborn who gave him the idea of getting into real estate. The move saw him anger the brothers who desired to stop working with him but they had already signed a contract. He paid them off with $2.7 million and they lost the right to use the name McDonalds in any business transaction.

The concept of human resource management was utilized perfectly by Ray Kroc. He pressured the brothers Dick and McDonald to hurry with their plans to ensure that the business moves forward. Ray ensured that he looked for a determined team. He held regular brainstorming meetings with his team and encouraged them to hold the vison of building a big brand (Snell 44). He regularly managed his staff to ensure that they did excellent work. He was quick to identify individuals who were not enthusiastic with the tasks assigned. Such individuals underwent replacement to give way for others who had a strong vision........GET A PLAGIARISM FREE COPY
