All participants in the criminal justice system must embrace ethics. Failure to embrace ethics sees to it that people experience malfunctions in their work stations. Unethical behavior affects different employees of the criminal justice system. It negatively affects police officers, Attorneys and people who work closely with the two mentioned (Bjerregaard and Lord 262). When it comes to the police force, unethical behavior negatively influences how they work with the community. The reactions of the community towards the police reflect the ethics portrayed by the force’s members. Whenever the police behave unethically, community members refuse to cooperate with them. They may hide information and criminals to sponsor crime in their areas.
